Thanks to My Wordpress Friends, New and Old

Well…the Freshly Pressed party has finally come to a close. The past 24 hours have been by far the most exciting I have had (as a writer) in a long time. The amount of NEW readers, friends, fellow bloggers, and followers has humbled me. I cannot believe the amount of people who stopped by, left comments or clicked “Like.”

I’ve spent the day trying to do my best to reply to everyone, and I now have a lot more blogs to read than I did a day before. These are the kinds of problems that I enjoy. I am very much looking forward to reading and exploring all of the new writers that I met today. This is a very cool community, this World of WordPress. Think I’ll stay awhile. Have a great weekend, I’m off to plot my next post. Seriously, how the hell do you follow this?

  1. For even attempting to reply back to everyone, you’re all right in my book. Sorry, make that AWESOME, in my book. πŸ™‚ I’m definitely looking forward to more of your posts! Best of luck trying to come down from the WordPress FP high. πŸ˜‰

    1. Cheers to that. Hell, if anybody takes the time to comment, I wanna talk to them. Community is what it’s all about. Thanks for your support, not sure what will get me off the ceiling. Lionel Richie would be proud.

  2. I followed your blog because you had a cool profile pic that says “I am a Very Deep Thinker” above it… >_< I fibber, your poem was cooler!

  3. Your reply to each comment made by.. uhmmm, well each commenter.. lol, was inspiring. It was like you were sharing your glory and excitement.

I hope they smack you with another “Freshly Pressed” soon, that will fix ya. *grins* teach you to be so nice.

    1. My mother raised me too well I suppose. I’m lucky I have flex time at work or I would not have been able to keep up! Besides the comments, I have a whole bunch more blogs in my reader, I hope I can do them justice. Let’s Rock!

  4. Using the clip of Sally Field was an excellent choice. I don’t think you’re gonna have any trouble following up. I’m already looking forward to reading what’s next. πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks Honie, if another blogger were to ask me advice on this, I would say: “Just keep doing what you’re doing.”

I’m going to try to listen to myself and just relax πŸ™‚

  5. It is a cool community, isn’t it? I am enjoying all the creativity and thoughts I stumble upon in the blogosphere. I’m sure I’m spending too much time doing it, but there’s just so much to read!

    1. I always have to fight to find balance, there’s so many cool folks out there and only so much time in each day. In addition to all of the blogs I read, I teach…in a writing program! That’s a lot of reading. Glad I love it.
