Hey,

So the fine folks of Ghost Parachute have once again given me a little room to strut my stuff. Here, I was going for a little Twilight Zone with a dash of The Lottery by Shirley Jackson.

I seem to have found a home for my short horror fiction. It’s been a fun year contributing to this emerging publication. Who knows what tomorrow might bring?

You’re Moving into a Land of both Shadow and Substance

rodIt’s the writer’s job to menace the public consciousness.

It is difficult to produce a television documentary that is both incisive and probing when every twelve minutes one is interrupted by twelve dancing rabbits singing about toilet paper.  

Yesterday was of course Christmas, but also the birthday of one of my literary heroes, Rod Serling. The genius behind The Twilight Zone — I never get tired of watching it. He believed in writing with purpose, addressing social issues, and making people think. How many writers are you reading right now that are doing their job?
